In depth

Verdict

ITS’AFREEBEE paid the price for trying to match strides with Politilogue in a Grade 2 at Haydock 10 days ago but Dan Skelton’s Fakenham and Wetherby winner should have too much for these if fully recovered. Cusheen Bridge was running well prior to pulling up at Market Rasen but is rated 13lb lower than the selection. Pearl Swan gets 7lb, however, and could be a factor as he was far from disgraced in a strongly-contested handicap at Chepstow last time having beaten a subsequent winner at Ffos Las before that.
