In depth
Verdict
There was definite promise in the first run of the Oscar gelding Snow Castle at Chepstow and Midnight Moss made late headway when fourth at Doncaster. But CHAMP is Nicky Henderson’s only runner on the card and Barry Geraghty rides for retainer JP McManus. A son of King’s Theatre, he’ll be expected to pay his way and can make a winning debut. Another newcomer, Parwich Lees, is a half-brother to a winning hurdler but may need further than this.
