    Verdict

Quest On Air, Iamback and Halcyon Magic are the three for the shortlist here and we will give the vote to Quest On Air. The selection hasn't won for close to two years but he put up a cracking effort last time when narrowly beaten by Little Richard over this trip at Wolverhampton. That was his best run for some time and if he can run up to that level here then he should take the world of beating. Iamback is no world beater but he is capable of winning in this grade even though he was a little disappointing last time. He tackles this trip for the first time today and if he gets home then he holds every chance, but as his ability to stay this far is not yet proven we are happy to take him on. Halcyon Magic finished behind our selection last time and he never really settled that day. All his best form is over shorter so his failure to settle over this trip would have to be a concern and if he races in the same vein today then he will find it hard to win. Neptune is from a shrewd yard and he has won over course and distance so he is another worth consideration, but for the winner we will stick with Quest On Air.
