        Verdict

        BAJAN BEAR had been threatening to win a race and went close at Wolverhampton on his latest start so it could be his turn today. Opus Dei also found only one too good last time but that was on the Fibresand at Southwell while The Tichborne reverted to type on his latest outing having won over 6f on the Turf here before that. Halling Dancer has claims on his earlier win at Ascot although he's 3lb higher today and Big Wave could make the frame once again.
