Verdict
Bold Prediction bids to repeat last year’s success but has won twice subsequently and is 14lb higher today. Alfred Hutchinson won a classified race here last time when beating only three rivals and is closely matched with Grey Mirage on earlier running behind My Target here. Third Time Lucky and Georgian Bay finished upsides when behind Mythical Madness at Wolverhampton recently while Mr Bossy Boots was ahead of Presumido when going close over 7f recently. But QAFFAAL was four lengths in front of Lunar Deity when narrowly beaten in this grade at Chelmsford last time and Mick Easterby’s charge may well return to winning ways having landed a hat-trick before that.
