In depth

Verdict

Beau Satchel has his own way of doing things which has never helped whoever has ridden him but Declan McDonagh dropped him out at Cork and brought him with a late run to snatch the spoils. Whether the cards will drop right for him here is another matter and he won't be helped by a massive 10lb rise. DATANARRA, who was beaten two lengths into third that day on just her fifth outing, will be 9lb better off and is much more straightforward than the winner so she's taken to reverse the form and land this. She was earlier a long way behind the winner Fast On at Gowran but overturned the form when the latter could only finish in mid-division at Cork. Dragon Khan is likely to attract attention after his fine second to Daliyan at Gowran but his best form has been over further than this and over hurdles. Measured Approval is 9lb lower than his last victory at Killarney last July so has to be respected.
