Verdict

The Four Elms appears to need much further and is on his highest mark but Talitha Kum is taking a drop in class and is back over her best trip on ground she will like. She had Melvin The Grate behind when runner-up at Leopardstown earlier and has to be respected. Vasoni has won four times at 7f but never over this trip so the vote goes to the well-handicapped LORD JIM, despite an absence since January. A close third to Fulminata over this track and trip on his previous start, it's a surprise to see him on a 2lb lower mark especially as the runner-up, That's Plenty, has subsequently won five races. Refractor ran well at Cork just over a week ago and his trainer is adept at placing his horses and though Gone Viral is 2lb out of the handicap he's still expected to go well as he performed with credit at Killarney after a 10lb rise for his victory at Gowran.
