Verdict

Though FAST BUCK was favourite when beaten at Naas in February, an earlier second to Fakir D’oudaires at Cork is very solid form for a race like this and the Mullins charge gets another chance. Monkeylou may be the danger as Gordon Elliott’s Flat winner showed definite promise in decent juvenile company in the autumn. Shannon Tide would almost certainly have won a maiden point at Rathcannon in April had he not fallen at the last so is interesting making his debut under Rules but all-weather winner Father Ailbe was beaten 26 lengths when third at Punchestown.
