    In depth

Aidan O'Brien has won this four times in recent years so Mount Tabora is greatly respected despite finishing four lengths behind ZANDER at Galway. The winner was ideally suited by plenty of give in the ground and overcame trouble in-running to win going away over that 7f so today's trip and going can see him score again despite being 10lb worse off with the Ballydoyle entry. Facethepuckout's only victory came on fast going but he's continued to run well in easier conditions but the main threat may come from Invincible Karma. He'd been running in good company before stepping up in trip and making all for a very convincing victory in a Roscommon maiden. Neither of the remaining pair can be dismissed in a tight-looking nursery.

Zander 10-1 (9-5) Bumped with rival leaving stalls, not much room early, soon raced in 8th, moderate 6th 2f out, headway on outer from over 1f out, soon slightly impeded, stayed on well inside final furlong to lead close home, won at Galway 7f mdn Yielding in Jul beating Wargrave (9-5) by 1 1/4l, 11 ran.

Invincible Karma (IRE) 5-4fav (9-5) Broke well, made all, travelled well and asserted entering straight, kept on strongly final furlong, comfortably, won at Roscommon 7f mdn sft in Aug beating Erich Bloch (9-5) by 4 1/2l, 14 ran.

Mount Tabora (USA) 15-8fav (9-5) Led, headed after 2f, prominent, lost position slightly 3f out, kept on without matching principals inside final furlong, 4th of 11, 4l behind Zander (9-5) at Galway 7f mdn Yielding in Jul.

Highway To Success (IRE) 11-4fav (8-12) Soon raced in 5th, effort from 3f out on inner, one pace from over 1f out, 7th of 8, 8 1/2l behind Cardini (9-7) at Curragh 7f hcp Good - Yielding in Aug.

Facethepuckout (IRE) 8-1 (8-7) Dwelt and pushed along at stages in rear, headway from halfway, chased winner and kept on without getting there inside final furlong, 2nd of 8, 1/2l behind Cardini (9-7) at Curragh 7f hcp Good - Yielding in Aug.

Cedars Of Lebanon (IRE) 9-1 (9-7) Led, pushed along and pressed from 3f out, soon headed and no extra from over 1f out, 4th of 5, 9 1/2l behind Urban Light (9-2) at Killarney 1m Yielding in Aug.
