Verdict

Aidan O'Brien runs three here. Hence is a regular at this sort of level and wasn't beaten far in a Group 3 at the Curragh last weekend. Clear Skies, fives times an all-weather winner, has yet to score on Turf while Curly was a bit disappointing at this level at Gowran last month. Willie Mullins won the race last year with Riven Light and Gustavus Vassa has been going well in tough handicaps while Willie McCreery won the previous two renewals and Mazzuri deserves a crack at this level after her Gowran handicap victory. Allegio is a heavy-ground specialist who has been racing on much quicker going that she would like so any further rain would aid her cause while Ship Of Dreams has been running well all year without quite getting there. Both of HAND OF HEART's victories have been on heavy ground and she looks capable of stepping up to this grade. As she's one of the few with genuine scope she gets the vote ahead of Panstarr, who was disappointing at Cork after a very good effort at Galway.
