Verdict
ALPINE EAGLE is in the form of his life and should gain his third success over hurdles to add to a similar tally on the flat. Jessica Harrington's charge scored on the level at Killarney in July and followed up with a very easy success over timber at Sligo. A recent second behind Top Spin over 1m6f back at Killarney when today's rival False Economy was well behind was another fine effort. Sherchanceit beat Total Excitement two-and-a-half lengths at Killarney in July and this pair look the main threats with the latter, who came out on top when they met again on the same track last month, looking the main threat.
