Verdict

After fine runs over 6f at Navan and Cork, SILK SLIPPERS palpably failed to stay an extra furlong at Leopardstown last time and will be seen to better effect here. She holds Queen Keenie and Sassaway on that Navan effort and looks well enough treated to take this. Aragorn Icon has been showing very good early pace over 7f and is another who should be suited by today's trip but Ultra Cool may prove better over the 7f which she scored on at Roscommon last month though she was probably undone by very testing ground there last time. Newpark Rio ran his best race for a very long time at the Curragh on Saturday and has dropped to a decent mark.
