Verdict

Emphatic, who has been in such good form, was engaged in the 2.30 here yesterday. Cracking Name hasn't always been the most consistent and has gone up 9lb for last month's victory at Tipperary. However, he won with a ton in hand and a repeat would see him difficult to beat. Youceeyouceecee, who has won around here, couldn't get to grips with him and though much better off has since been beaten at Roscommon. NOTHING TO LOSE finished runner-up in that latter event, staying on strongly on the soft ground. He'll enjoy the conditions more than most and can add to his winning tally. Count Of Carabass found 6f too short here on Monday and this is his trip so better is expected.
