Verdict

Kylecrue is best over this trip on testing ground as he showed when gaining his 11th victory here on Sunday, though he found the Kerry National too much to handle on Wednesday and was pulled up after leading on to the final circuit. Hidden Cyclone has been brilliantly placed by Shark Hanlon to win 17 times, including over hurdles at this meeting last year when he had Draycott Place in second. Both are perfectly capable of winning again at this level as is Dromnea, though the latter is better over further and has a long absence to overcome. VAL DE FERBET ended the last campaign with facile victories over fences at Clonmel and in a Grade 3 at Cork. He's expected to progress into a top-line chaser this season and can return with another victory.
