Verdict

Skippin Court is unbeaten in two starts here including this race a year ago from 5lb lower. Marelly was in excellent form on testing ground last winter and though shooting up the weights there should be more to come this campaign. Sequoiaspirit completed a double on the Flat in May and has continued in good form with a close third in a Killarney Listed contest last time suggesting he can go close to gaining his first victory over timber. BUGS MORAN (NAP) was very progressive in the early part of last year but didn't run again until last month's Galway Festival where he ran a superb race to be beaten less than a length in a Listed handicap. He can go one better though there are plenty of dangers including Gold Speed, who also ran well at Galway as did the smart and consistent Buddy One.
