In depth

Verdict

Charlie Bassett hasn't been beaten far in any of his recent runs on the Flat but could find this on the short side. Emiyn hasn't been showing much at the business end and may have to wait for a handicap to get off the mark while PARTY SEASON was well beaten on his belated debut at Leopardstown. However, the son of American Pharoah looked badly in need of experience and he can start repaying some of his $1m purchase fee here. Childers is a half-brother to two winning sprinters so is one to note on his debut.
