In depth
Verdict
A particularly poor event in which few can be given serious consideration and this looks at the mercy of Infini. Martin Pipe's gelding has had his excuses since landing a handicap hurdle at Worcester last July as he broke a blood vessel next time and was then unsuited by testing conditions at Ascot and Sandown subsequently. This represents a significant ease in grade and the seven-year-old has the best part of two stones in hand over his main market rival. Camaraderie was a narrow winner of a similar event at Chepstow last month but faces no easy task on these terms and looks booked for minor honours at best. Indian Sun has not been seen since taking a heavy fall two months ago and may need the outing so Eyes To The Right, who showed a little promise last time, may be best of the remainder.
