      Verdict

      LA RENOMMEE has taken well to fences and built on a couple of earlier seconds when landing a handicap over course and distance last month. She beat the re-opposing trio Fortunes Melody, Cotton End and Volkovka on that occasion and is only 2lb higher. Walk In Clover finished second of three runners in a novices' event here last time though the return to softer going is a worry back back in a handicap.
