In depth
Verdict
Valley Ride is selected to step up on his debut and account for Charming Fellow and Antinomy, with Larch one to watch for the future. Valley Ride posted a very promising effort when second at Bangor, with the odds-on favourite Here We Go back in third. Colin Tinkler's charge is sure to have come on in leaps and bounds and is worth chancing against Charming Fellow who also showed up well when third at Sandown. He came to win his race in the straight but tired up the hill and will also strip fitter. His stablemate Larch is owned by The Vestey Family Partnership and should have a bright future, but is best watched on his debut. Antinomy is another that sees the racecourse for the first time but hails from a top yard, so we can assume that he will be placed to good effect in due course, while Ellandshe's stable are quite adept at getting one ready first time in this sphere. The market should be noted as regards the rest, but we shall stick with Valley Ride.
