VIKING VISITOR ran well until lack of condition told when finishing ahead of Ardkilly Rebel on his hurdling debut at Ffos Las. Successful between the flags and the winner of a couple of bumpers in Ireland last summer, the six-year-old will strip fitter here and has more scope than Zakatal who was finishing in the frame for the sixth time in a row when third at Ffos Las last month and doesn't have much in the way of pace. Kasbadali was runner-up at Exeter and Southwell in the autumn and should be thereabouts again if fully wound-up after a short break but hurdling newcomer Royal Riviera is probably a better long-term prospect.
