In depth

Verdict

This looks a decent contest with Bobo Mac a previous course and distance winner but in the veteran stage now. Quick Wave has an absence to overcome but has had a wind operation since last seen and his yard continue to fire in the winners. Philip Hobbs’ stable is also in good form so Jatiluwih is worth a second look but LEGENDS GOLD has a good opportunity at the weights. Rebecca Curtis’ mare was third in a race at Bangor on her reappearance which has worked out well and she wasn’t disgraced last time at Newbury on unfavourable terms. Castle Robin has taken well to fences and should run his race again while Demachine’s fifth in the Ladbrokes Trophy in November suggests he’ll win more races again this season.
