In depth
Verdict
Watt Broderick can be a tricky ride as he needs holding up. But the champ takes over the reins and this sharp track should suit, though he's shot up in the weights. Orthodox Lad lacks a recent run but was in good form last summer, though August Hill looks a bigger threat. He won over course and distance last month after scoring at Wincanton and a hat-trick isn't out of the question. Going Concern is difficult to catch right, however, and may have preferred a softer surface. FOND MEMORY easily landed the odds at Perth last month and is only a couple of pounds higher than when just beaten in a novices' handicap at Newbury in February - he can double his tally here.
