Verdict

None of these inspire confidence but SUNSET SHOWDOWN has the best past form over hurdles. He’s failed to figure in a couple of starts over fences recently but went gone close over timber last year and may prove good enough. Palixandre never threatened at Wincanton on his hurdling bow but may improve on his second start after a wind-op while Dartmoor finished third in a bumper last month and could go well now hurdling. The remainder have shown little so far with Miss Gemstone perhaps the best.
