Verdict
Fraternize would not have to be anything special to win this first time of asking but he was hardly a star on the level and better value may be found in the TEAMtalk selection Veridian who boasted some fair form over hurdles last season before disappointing towards the backend. If fit first time out he should take some pegging back for his promising new trainer. Governor Daniel returns to hurdling follow a couple of spins over fences. He should be full of confidence but his jockey's inexperience is a worry. Peartree House is a consistent if not highly talented individual. His recent form is good but looks up against it at these weights. Flush is returning from a long absence and he is better than this level on his previous form. Market support on his reappearance would be significant.
