An awful contest where GENARI is the suggestion to get the better of Aypeeyes. Gordon Elliott does very well with his British sorties and Genari landed a Sedgefield seller for him on fast ground last time out. The manner of his victory there, by a commanding eight lengths, suggests that he will again be tough to beat in this grade and we are happy to stick with him. Aypeeyes is a reasonable 77-rated Flat performer, who would definitely get further than today's minimum trip. He dotted up in a Newton Abbot maiden hurdle in June but has suffered in two handicaps since and will find this drop in grade much more to his ability, so he is a danger. Rampant Ronnie also won a maiden hurdle at Plumpton in the spring and loves to hear his hooves rattle - he is another who is respected on this drop in class after being beaten in novices company under a penalty last time. Feeling has gone well in this sphere before and can get competitive without being good enough to win, and a stronger proposition looks to be Planetarium on his selling debut. Space Pirate has shown only moderate form already in this company and we will take Genari to follow-up that Sedgefield success.
