In depth
Verdict
Royal Beluga, a course and distance winner who is unbeaten over fences, can continue his run here. Six pounds higher than when beating Stopwatch here last time out, he was value for a good deal more than the winning margin and still appears to be a step ahead of the handicapper. Colombian Green is potentially well treated on some of his hurdles form and has not been knocked about over fences so far, so is one to consider as an each-way bet. Krabloonik has been jumping well this season and should be thereabouts as well, while Db My Son could be anything judged on his British debut at Taunton. He is likely to start favourite on that evidence, but veered erratically on that occasion and is perhaps not one to take a short price about.
