Verdict

I'm Wiser Now has only finished out of the frame once so far over hurdles but has become expensive to follow. Nicky Henderson runs two but it is no surprise that Nico de Boinville prefers last month’s Warwick runner-up Felony to Sleight Of Hand as the former is bred for jumping. Laxey showed ability last season and can probably be forgiven his run in a Sandown handicap on his reappearance while Dan Skelton’s Ashtown Lad is a winner between the flags. GOSHEVEN (NAP) looked a smart novice the season before last. He caught the eye on his return to action at Chepstow, despite tender handling, and can start making up for lost time here.
