Verdict

GREEN BOOK (NAP) escapes a penalty for his win in a conditionals’ handicap at Haydock on Saturday. He beat stronger rivals than this in a fast-run race and in-form Venetia Williams regularly uses Lucy Turner when she wants a competent claimer in the saddle. Inn The Bull, Morraman and Bridge North all have each-way claims and City Derby is better than he showed at Sandown but Morgenstern may be having a confidence-booster. Jaunty Viking has more to do than at Ffos Las in June and hasn’t raced since.
