Verdict

Kerryhead Storm won this a year ago from a 7lb lower mark but ran poorly on a return visit three weeks ago. Sir Note landed a novices' handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter last June and there was something amiss when he pulled up there a couple of weeks later. He returned to action for his debut over fences at Huntingdon and won easily though it wasn't a great race and he's been put up 12lb. PEMBROKE HOUSE (NAP) scored over this trip at Lingfield in December then couldn't quite last out over an extra three furlongs at Market Rasen where he found Ballyadeen too strong. He looks to have a good chance to get back to winning ways here. Oficial Ben ran his best race to date when runner-up at Catterick, though was eventually beaten a long way, while Bobble Boru has been racing over longer trips since scoring over the minimum at Ffos Las in November.
