In depth
Verdict
Try Catch Paddy, Midnight Gold and Villago look the three to concentrate on in this poor contest and the tentative vote is given to Try Catch Paddy. The selection would win this easily on his early season form and although he has been very disappointing of late the return to this faster surface is sure to suit and in this poor race he is hard to oppose. Midnight Gold rates the main danger on his latest second behind Simple Glory but he is far from consistent so he can't be put forward with any confidence. Villago showed a modicum of ability in a much better race on his debut and is sure to have come on for the run so he is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Porthilly Bay is another from a top yard that looks sure to improve but for the winner we return to Try Catch Paddy.
