      Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and all the runners could be given a chance on their best form but the principals look to be Delicio, Jupon Vert and Kind Sir and the tentative vote goes to Delicio. The selection has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his latest third behind Dealer's Choice last time. He is a pound worse off for been beaten three lengths by that rival here but he is taken to gain revenge with Jim Culloty taking over from an inexperienced rival. Jupon Vert rates the main danger on his latest second behind Tommy Carson but he has never won over a trip this far over fences and for that reason he is opposed. Kind Sir is game and consistent and goes on any ground and is sure to run his race again but he keeps rising in the weights without winning and for that reason he is opposed. Dealer's Choice is well weighted on his best form but never runs two races alike. Harvis is well weighted on his best form but continues to be beset with jumping problems while Cobreces is very disappointing so for the winner we return to Deliceo
