A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and all the runners could be given a chance on their best form but the principals look to be Delicio, Jupon Vert and Kind Sir and the tentative vote goes to Delicio. He is a pound worse off for been beaten three lengths by that rival here but he is taken to gain revenge with Jim Culloty taking over from an inexperienced rival. Dealer's Choice is well weighted on his best form but never runs two races alike.
