In depth

Verdict

Sebastian Beach, a dual winner on the Flat for Richard Hannon, chased home Souriyan on his hurdling debut at Exeter with the remainder a long way behind though a longer trip may suit. Cape Caster, a useful handicapper on the level for Ralph Beckett, was well supported on his debut over timber at Ffos Las and gave supporters few concerns. He had just over 4l to spare over Eddiemaurice and the latter was then sent into Grade 1 company at Chepstow where he ran well for a long way before fading. ARABIAN REVOLUTION didn't beat much on his hurdling bow at Sandown but was always travelling well and though meeting better opponents here looks set to complete a double.
