Richard Fahey is a rare visitor to Ludlow which makes Mutawaffer of interest but he has plenty to find on the form book with Chrysander and Hibiki who is preferred. The selection produced creditable efforts on his first two starts before readily landing the odds over course and distance. He still holds some big race entries and will be expected to go close. Chrysander has run well enough in the face of some tough tasks since winning here in November and merits respect. He's shown consistent form in his short hurdling career but looks vulnerable once again. High Standard posted a seemingly vastly improved performance here last time, if that's taken at face value then a repeat should see him in the mix. Beherayn, Prince Du Beury and Ta Peshala may yet fulfil their initial promise but Hibiki has solid claims and is the pick.
