Verdict
Chase The Wind is in the veteran stage now but sprang a surprise here in September. Joanne Foster also runs Sigurd but he’s become something of a Wetherby specialist. Ballinslea Bridge was easily brushed aside by the odds-on Le Breuil at Huntingdon but Shanbally Rose was only beaten a nose at Musselburgh after an earlier win at Perth. FUTURE BENEFITS, a winning pointer, was well backed at Newcastle on his chasing bow and made all. An 8lb rise isn’t ideal but he has bags of scope.
