In depth
Verdict
It's almost four years since GALANT NUIT was beaten a length by Ballabriggs in the Fulke Walwyn at Cheltenham but he retains some ability and was in good form between the flags last season. A recent run will have put him straight and he gets the vote though Classinaglass is an obvious threat. He completed an early season double between the flags on local turf at Sheriff Hutton and looks certain to be in the shake-up. Loose Preformer had his first start in this sphere at Leicester last month and ran well enough to get involved here while Nowurhurlin won a novices' handicap over fences at Bangor last May and has been placed twice in points recently. Qualviro won a hurdles race at Ludlow a year ago but hasn't been seen since July though he'll have been out hunting.
