Verdict
A field large in numbers but low quality and on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Green Prospect, Selvas and The Glen and the confident vote goes to Selvas. The selection was a good winner last time out when defeating Saddler's Rock, he will not mind any rain and despite his penalty he is taken to win again Green Prospect rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating All Star and with this right hand course sure to suit he will not be far away. The Glen is another worthy of respect he won well last time when making all to defeat Rideaway Rose but this looks tougher and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Mister Moussac has been in form but he will need to have improved again to win under his big weight and for the winner we return to Selvas.
