Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Punchy, Guilsborough Gorse, Be The Tops, and Why The Big Paws and the vote goes to Punchy. The selection won well last time out when defeating King Of Mommur and although he is rising in the weights he is still well weighted on his best form and he is taken to score. Guilsborough rates the main danger on his best form he has been running well in slightly less competitive races of late. However he is rising in the handicap and he would not want any more rain. Be The Tops is another that could go well but he took a crashing fall last time out and it is hard to know if his confidence has been effected so he may be best watched here. Why The Big Paws has shown improved form over fences but she looks to be on a high enough mark for what she has actually achieved and for the winner we return to Punchy.
