Verdict
Roman Outlaw gets the vote here, with Cromwell and Ibin St James the others worthy of serious consideration. The selection is not the most reliable of performers and has been pulled-up on each of his last three starts. But he does have plenty of ability and if he can complete the race, he looks the one to beat. He has plenty of winning form to his name and could be capable of winning at a decent price. Cromwell is another that could go well at a decent price and he is a course and distance winner. But he was a big disappointment last time behind Fin Bec and is probably best watched here. Ibin St James merits plenty of respect as he won well last time at Huntingdon when beating Lord Broadway. He is still unexposed and will handle the trip and ground, so should go well. Of the rest, Dads Lad would have chances on his best form, but we are happy to side with Roman Outlaw.
