In depth

Verdict

Fullards comes here on the back of some recent confidence boosters in the point-to-point field while Mister Friday and Gabor appear the main dangers to the selection. Mister Friday travelled very well in a point-to-point on the course but weakened in the closing stages. He should come on for that outing as that was following a lengthy layoff. Gabor has something to prove having been well beaten at Flagg Moor last time. Vital Spark is interesting hailing from the Jefferson yard but was beaten out of sight at Kelso in a Hunters Chase in February. Fullards is a tentative pick in a weak hunter chase.
