Verdict

JIMMY RABBITTE represents the in-form Dr Newland yard and went well for today's pilot when a pleasing third at Newton Abbot on a first run back since February. He looks just the sort his yard do really well with, more improvement should prove forthcoming and his rider is 2-8 in the current campaign. He should be cherry ripe after that comeback run. Native Fighter battled on well when runner-up at Cartmel and is a leading player on that evidence and nominated as the prime threat. Compatriot and Ballyfarsoon look next best but both will have to step up again against the aforementioned pair on the evidence of the formbook.
