Verdict
Prairie Sun gets the vote over Courant d'Air, with Faraway Echo and Holly Walk next best. The selection opened her account over a mile and a half on the Flat in the summer but has appeared to have stamina limitations on the level since. However, she has run four decent races over hurdles, including when fourth in Listed company at Wetherby last time. She meets nothing of that calibre here and should prove to be the answer. Courant d'Air finished third at Cheltenham last time but looks held by the selection on earlier Cartmel running behind Siegfrieds Night. Faraway Echo is also held on Bangor running and Holly Walk has it to do with the selection based on Wetherby form. So, with that in mind, Prairie Sun should hold all the aces and is hard to oppose in the opener.
