Verdict
Elkstone has decent claims after a second over these fences to Pretty Reckless. But a line through the latter also brings MONDO CANE into the equation and Charles Pogson’s charge gets the nod to come out best with a recent fourth at Southwell under his belt. Kempton winner Iona Days failed to cope with a 6lb rise last time and Mr Jim is preferred off his current mark having won at Plumpton earlier in the year. Orchestrated is a more recent winner when scoring at Fontwell in October but burst a blood vessel on his latest start.
