Verdict

Affaire D'honneur ran well in some hot handicaps last season but just hasn’t progressed this term and was pulled up when tried over this longer trip at Haydock in November. Get On The Yager could give a boost to Agamemmon’s second at Kempton earlier on the card and a first win over hurdles for Tom Lacey’s five-year-old looks only a matter of time. Abricot De L'oasis boasts a very consistent record over hurdles but may be a few pounds too high at present whereas FORTHEFUNOFIT had dropped to a lenient mark when springing a 20/1 surprise at Ascot. He is 6lb higher here but could take all the beating again if in the same mood. Leith Hill Lad has had a break but is lightly raced and won over this trip between the flags so is no forlorn hope.
