Verdict
Brigadoon hasn't sparkled over hurdles in the past but won on the Flat at Catterick earlier this month and would be a threat to all if translating that form back to jumping under the experienced Patrick Cowley. Triple Eight was beaten under a length in a non-seller here last month but Avel Vor would need to improve on a couple of recent seconds at Stratford. CLAUDE CARTER finished ahead of Triple Eight at Cartmel last month and Alistair Whillans' 12-year-old should still retain the ability to win a race like this.
