This won't take much winning, despite the big field. Caledonia Laird is running well enough to get involved but all of his victories have come at Class 6 level. Frozen Lake should have benefited from his run at Newmarket in May but has been off the track again since. Celtic Sixpence is still coming down the weights and should take advantage soon but we'll take a punt that THE KNAVE handles the better ground having failed to sparkle on heavy going last time at Nottingham. Firgrove Bridge won over 6f here last year and could run well at a price.
