Farlow bids to repeat last year's victory and can race off the same mark. Bertiewhittle was second last year but is worse off at the weights and is on a long losing run. Get Knotted has been a model of consistency this summer and has only been raised 3lb for a narrow success at York. Shanghai Glory won at Lingfield and Epsom in June but was found wanting on his only previous try over 7f. Brazos has responded well to blinkers and won over course and distance last month but it's about time LINCOLN (NAP) was winning one of these. He's had more than his fair share of bad luck since finishing third at Goodwood in April but is now 5lb lower and must be thereabouts if everything falls into place today. Only a short-head separated Barracuda Boy and Northgate Lad at Newcastle and there should be little between the pair again.
