    Verdict

Pay Attention would have claims if able to reproduce the pick of his hurdles form over the larger obstacles but he has yet to do that and it is hard to get away from Kitski, who gets the vote with Salhood rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown a reasonable level of form since switched to the larger obstacles and a reproduction of his latest effort when a close third behind Ungaro at Ascot should suffice for Ferdy Murphy's gelding. Neither Worlaby Dale nor Lords Bridge make any sort of appeal in this grade and of more interest is Salhood. The Steve Gollings-trained gelding is capable but he needs to improve to get the better of Kitski who gets the vote.
