Verdict

A winner for Godolphin on the Flat, CIRQUE ROYAL has got his act together over hurdles and defied a penalty in novice company at Kelso. There looks more to come from the Irish raider in handicaps and he gets the vote. Stratford winner Toronto also makes his handicap debut while Wolf Prince won three times over hurdles in Ireland and debuts for Fergal O’Brien, who also runs another with a chance in Castel Gandolfo. Galata Bridge won a lower grade contest at Huntingdon and Gaelik Coast scored at Worcester last month while Caramelised returns to this code with a recent win on the Flat under his belt having two of only four starts over timber so far.
