In depth

Verdict

Sunset Showdown is picking up place money whilst suggesting he could do with coming down a few more pounds. There doesn't look much between the other two on the book but Seven De Baune has a slightly more inconsistent profile and SAINT DE REVE (NAP) is preferred. He's proved competitive in decent handicaps, will enjoy the good ground and finished a creditable third when last seen in May in a competitive Kempton chase.

Formwatch

Seven De Baune (FR) 11-2 (10-12) Chased winner, slow 10th, led before 2 out, pushed along and joined last, driven and headed flat, no impression on winner towards finish, 2nd of 4, 1 3/4l behind Ashington (10-12) at Hexham 2m 4f (4) gd in Jun.

Sunset Showdown (IRE) 11-1 (11-10) Jumped left at times and not always fluent, held up in rear, plugged on from 3 out, went modes 3rd approaching last, 3rd of 7, 21 3/4l behind Montanna (10-9) at Ffos Las 3m hcp (3) gd in Jun.
