    Verdict

Bertimont was in good form around this time last year but has been absent since April and has had a wind operation since. Apasionado has also been on the sidelines while Paddys Runner has had plenty of chances. Jockey bookings would suggest the novice SOLOMON GREY is the pick of Dan Skelton’s three runners. The Plumpton winner has twice been placed behind the smart If The Cap Fits this season and can make a successful debut in handicaps. The four-year-old Nayati also runs in his first handicap but he was a lucky winner at Ascot and the form of his Newbury success looks suspect. Treshnish is still heading in the right direction, however, and makes more appeal than Oxford Blu.
